The future of the world of work at ORGATEC 2024

From 22 to 25 October in Cologne – innovations and trends centred on sustainability and ergonomics.

The leading international trade fair ORGATEC aims to set new standards for the design of modern working environments when it takes place in Cologne from 22 to 25 October 2024. Following a new topic-centred approach, the trade fair will bring together the leading figures from the office furnishing industry and turn the spotlight on the latest trends and developments relating to the future of work. With a range of interactive formats designed to spark fresh ideas, this year’s ORGATEC is sure to be an inspiring business event.

Full focus across seven halls

Centrally positioned in the individual exhibition halls, the Focus Areas will form the heart of the trade fair. In each of these special zones, visitors will have the chance to experience an information-packed, concise presentation of an industry-relevant topic. The Focus Areas will include:

#Indoor&OutdoorHospitality: High-quality contract furniture that introduces a new dimension to indoor and outdoor hospitality.

#TheCircularHouse Developed in collaboration with CADEMI, this circular economy experience will feature sustainable solutions for the office furnishing industry.

#OfficeXperience: Future-ready, holistic concepts for the management of office buildings and the next generation workplaces, presented in partnership with rehub and CADEMI.

#InspiredAugmentedOffice: Forward-looking office trends relating to collaboration, smart work and the augmented office, developed in cooperation with zgoll.

In addition to these and other Focus Areas, there is a special highlight in store for trade visitors with the “Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival”. Organised by the German Interior Business Association (IBA) and featuring over 100 speakers on six stages, the event will celebrate and explore the flexibility and mobility of modern working environments.
